Share your passion for yoga to help others

(NC)—With spring just around the corner, an event is coming with the promise to shape up your mind and body with an invigorating dose of yoga—and to spread your inner peace outward.

On April 27, renowned yoga-instructor Mark Laham will be stretching for human rights as part of Yoga Day for Human Rights (yogaday.ca). In partnership with the human rights organization Amnesty International, Laham is asking you to help him support women whose human rights are being abused.

Yoga is a spiritual, mental and physical exercise, which, its supporters claim, helps to regenerate health and well-being. Many people who do yoga swear by its powers to help reduce stress, achieve balance, build strength, gain flexibility, and connect mind and body while also connecting with others.

Instructor Laham will be hosting a live, national yoga class online for all Canadians. The class is suitable for any age and fitness level. All you'll need to do is to roll out your yoga mat and help him raise money and awareness for Amnesty International's work for women's human rights.

This virtual yoga class promises to help you achieve your fitness goals from the inside and out, while helping to build a more just world for women worldwide. The Yoga Day for Human Rights live online class can be accessed wherever you are, whether that is in the comfort of your home or even at your office.
